The Bank House Hotel, Spa & Golf Club are sponsoring St Richard’s Hospice’s glamorous Ladies Day event at Worcester Racecourse.
Taking place on Saturday 4 June, Worcester Racecourse’s Ladies Day is known for its guests’ stylish dress code, the exciting horse racing and iconic music performances. The 2022 event will see BOYZLIFE, the ‘supergroup’ featuring band members from Westlife and Boyzone, perform at the after-race show.
St Richard’s Hospice organise a special hospitality day at each year’s event and after providing gifts previously, the Bank House Hotel has gone one step further this year in sponsoring the event.
Ladies Day itself will see guests receive private access to the St Richard’s Hospice marquee, enjoy arrival drinks on the marquee lawn with live music, followed by three-course lunch and afternoon tea. All the ladies in attendance will receive a gift and there will also be a raffle and grand auction. All money raised from the event will go directly to the charity.
This sponsorship follows several other associations with the Worcester-based charity over recent years. Something Adam Richards, General Manager of the Bank House Hotel, Spa & Golf Club, is extremely proud of. He said: “We have a fantastic relationship with St Richard’s Hospice and fully support their cause so it’s an honour to be associated with their Ladies Day event.
“Funding has been so difficult over the last two years and events like this simply haven’t been allowed to take place. So, it’s great to see it back on the calendar and fantastic for us to be even more involved this year.”
St Richard’s Hospice is a registered charity that cares for adults with a serious progressive illness, improving their quality of life from diagnosis, during treatment and to their last days, and also offering invaluable support to their loved ones. The independent hospice relies mainly on donations and gifts to provide the patient care and necessary support services. In 2020/21 this cost was approximately £8.75m.
