Why Afternoon Tea Week couldn’t come at a better time…

From the 10th until the 16th August 2020, we celebrate one of the nation’s most famous traditions as we welcome Afternoon Tea Week across the UK and it could hardly have come at a better time this year…

As we all continue to adjust to the on-going social distancing restrictions where we can’t hug or spend prolonged time with our loved ones, the best and safest way to see friends and family is to dine out. We personally can’t think of a better opportunity than over an Afternoon Tea. There really is no better way to while away a few hours.

What makes Afternoon Tea Week even better this year is that you’ll probably never be able to get Afternoon Tea for such an incredible price.

Thanks to the Government’s ‘Eat Out to Help Out’ restaurant scheme, which the Bank House Hotel in Worcester is taking part in, guests can get 50% off food on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday throughout August. That means that our Traditional Afternoon Tea is just £7.50 per person.

If you needed another excuse to justify your decision to join us during Afternoon Tea Week, then you’ll be pleased to know it’s also National Prosecco Day on Thursday 13 August 2020 and we all know there’s nothing better than a glass of fizz with your Afternoon Tea.

At the Bank House, we have a range of options for you to choose from. Our Traditional Afternoon Tea comprises of a delicious selection of finger sandwiches, sweet treats and home-made scones, all served with a choice of tea or coffee.

Alternatively, you can have a simple Cream Tea and we also serve Afternoon Tea for children with a hot chocolate or strawberry milkshake if you want to bring the little ones along too.

However you want you catch up with friends and family, do so in the comfort at the Bank House Hotel, where you can enjoy views of the stunning Malvern Hills from our safe and spacious countryside location in Worcestershire.

The fact that you can do so at just £7.50 per person, makes it a no-brainer, surely?
