The Bank House Hotel, Spa & Golf has been inducted into the prestigious TripAdvisor Hall of Fame following five consecutive years of recognised excellence.
TripAdvisor, the world’s most popular travel review website, runs a yearly Certificate of Excellence awards programme, which the Bank House Hotel has been awarded every year since 2015. That continued recognition of the high standards throughout the hotel has seen the Bank House earn a special Certificate of Excellence Hall of Fame award.
Since 2011, the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence have been awarded to approximately 10% of the businesses listed on the site who have consistently achieved great reviews over the previous year. To qualify, the business must have an overall TripAdvisor rating of at least four out of five and have met the minimum review criteria. An algorithm then takes into account the quality, quantity and recency of user reviews to allocate the award winners.
Jason Mayglothling, General Manager of the Bank House Hotel, said: “This is a fantastic achievement and one that I’m immensely proud of. Everyone who works, or has worked, at the Bank House over the past five years deserves a huge amount of credit for us to get to this point.
“TripAdvisor play such a key role in guests’ decision making, so having this stamp of approval shows that guests can expect to receive a quality service and is only going to help attract future customers.
“It’s also very pleasing that the guests that have previously stayed with us have been happy with our fantastic hotel and the quality of the service that we offer.”
